Jim Loftin
Jim has been selling windows and doors at Kansas City Building Supply for 21 years. He has been part of our growth almost from the beginning. His vast experience enables him to help customers select the best products for their needs. From wood to vinyl and on to fiberglass Jim is well versed in all. Married with five children Jim would be pleased to help you with your construction material needs.
Jerry Harper
Prior to getting involved in the sale of residential building materials Jerry had 15 years in the residential contracting business. This experience makes Jerry well suited to assist customers with product selection and installation applications. Jerry has sold construction materials for 20 years now and has a command of cabinets, windows, millwork and hardware products. Jerry’s customers include many fire and water restoration clients.
Pete Peterson
Pete has been selling construction materials for 13 years. His knowledge extends beyond windows and doors as he has also sold lumber and other materials for a past employer. In his spare time Pete likes to spend time with his granddaughter and he enjoys camping and fishing. Let Pete know if he can assist you with your upcoming remodel and/or new build projects.
Ted Koppen
Ted has been involved in building material industry for 18 years. His specialty is cabinet sales and design. However he can assist you with any of the products we carry. He offers a solutions-based approach to helping his customers design and build their dream kitchens. In his personal time Ted likes to spend time with his four children, coaching basketball and sailing area lakes.
Terry Baker
With over 20 years of experience in our industry Terry works with many of Kansas City’s leading home builders. He handles projects in scope from starter homes on up to multi-million dollar estates. His organizational skills and knowledge base has enabled him to build lasting relationships with contractors and decorators alike. Terry would be pleased to provide you his excellent customer service and he very much enjoys incorporating the latest trends into his work.
Larry Barger
Larry has a very expansive background in the construction materials. His experience spans delivery, assembly, service and sales. During his tenure he has assisted hundreds of customers with their window, door and millwork needs. He is available to assist customers with their new construction and remodeling needs. Larry is also a veteran of both the US Marines and US Army. While not at work Larry enjoys many hobbies including ultra light flying, dirt bike racing and kayaking.
Terry Wooldridge
Terry has been active in the construction industry for too many years to mention. He started work in a cabinet shop and then became a rough in carpenter for a span that lasted 12 years. His sales experience extends over 20 years. This active hands on background makes him an expert in his field. His training has him well versed in cabinet design, window take offs and stair part layouts including the very popular iron spindles. Stop by the showroom some time and you are likely to find Terry helping one of the many customers who utilize this valuable resource.
Terry Klein
Terry began his successful career in the millwork industry as a trim carpenter in 1974. He transitioned into sales in 1983 and quickly rose to the top as one of Kansas City’s most sought after trusted salesmen. Terry’s key to success is product knowledge and knowing his customers. Terry’s philosophy is to always deliver more than he promises. New construction, remodeling and project planning – Terry welcomes the opportunity to lend his expertise and assist you in reaching your construction goals.
Chris Reed
Chris is a 20 year veteran in construction materials sales and service. He started as a fireplace sales person and moved on to coverage in all the materials Kansas City Building Supply has to offer. If you are building a home, or updating a current property Chris would be pleased to assist you. In his spare time Chris supports his families’ pursuit of equestrian adventure. Willie Zimmerschied
With over 20 years assisting builders, remodelers and individual homeowners Willie is ready to help you. His background includes expertise in windows, exterior doors, stair systems, cabinets and interior trim applications. Construction projects can often be challenging and downright stressful. Willie’s experience both with product specifications and installation techniques allows him to help customer’s reduce the stress and make the experience pleasant and enjoyable.
Allan Kowal
Allan grew up in a builder’s family learning construction from the ground up. In 1989 he moved from Wichita to Kansas City to help start Kansas City Building Supply. Allan’s personal attention to each customer coupled with his design expertise allows him to assist his customers in growing their business. He stays current with the latest building trends and product innovations. No matter how small or large your project is Allan welcomes the opportunity to be your partner.
Rick Frye
Rick’s construction background goes back for over 40 years. He uses his experience to assist customers with their kitchen, bath and entertainment area cabinet projects. Not only does he work directly with customers, but he also is able to integrate many design ideas due to his knowledge and expertise using the 20/20 design software platform. With his specialization in cabinetry Rick also assists customers with countertop, hardware and accessory selections. It would be Rick’s pleasure to help make your cabinet dreams come true.
Kevin Noble
Kevin has a vast background in cabinet design. Utilizing his Associate of Applied Science degree in Interior Design Kevin combines his technical skill and artistic flair to create fantastic designs for his clients. He currently serves as Vice President of Programs for the Nebraska/Kansas chapter of the NKBA. He has judged the Kansas City Homes and Gardens Home of the Year contest since 2005 and has judged several design contests for students of the NKBA. Kevin’s focus is on providing the utmost design while maintaining his client’s budget considerations. Kevin would be happy to assist in the design of your kitchen, bath, mudroom, office, library or laundry.
Jay Waldenmeyer
Jay has been in the business since his graduation from Marquette University in 1992. His experience ranges from the top to the bottom and he has never been afraid to get his hands dirty. His approach to sales is to identify a customer’s needs and to match that customer up with the best possible value proposition for their needs. His range covers cabinets, windows, doors, millwork and hardware products. In addition to servicing remodelers, residential general contractors and retail customers Jay also delivers the products and services we offer to a wide range of commercial contractors as well.
Larry Womack
Larry began his career in the building business shortly after graduating from Missouri State University with a degree in Marketing. He was a home builder and developer in the Kansas City North area for eighteen years. His work ranged from starter houses to apartment projects to multimillion dollar luxury homes. During that time, Larry developed his skill and expertise in millwork and cabinetry design as well as a professionals understanding of the overall building process. Larry moved into the millwork sales business in 1988. Whether his customer is a general contractor, remodeler or individual, Larry’s experience as a builder and his creativity with design and kitchen layout serves them very well. In his spare time Larry enjoys playing golf. He lives with his wife, Nancy, on their horse farm in the Northland. Their 150 year old log cabin farmhouse has provided many occasions for Larry to apply his building and millwork design skills.
